Comfortable!
Very comfortable boots. Took the previous reviews recommendations and ordered a half size down and they fit great! The sole of the bootie has no grip is very slippery, especially on icy walkways, but other than that they're perfect.

Not feeling it
i am trying to find my everyday boot for the winter and I was really hopeful that this was it. No such luck. They are lovely boots and nicely made for the price, but there was something about the split leather opening in the front that didn't quite work for me.
It was hard to me to shove my pants all the way down into it.....and it also looked odd when I tried to wear my pants above the boot. The split looked like a horse"s hoof. I think these would have to work with only black pants so you had a continuous line (in the black boots) or with skirts or dresses and your bare legs showing (I don't have good legs).

Very stylish and comfy
I got the "cognac" color - it is not cognac at all, but a warm brown IMO. The product pics make the dark shading at the toe very prominent but it's much more subtle in person.
The leather and heel are very high quality, probably because this boot is made in Brazil rather than China. I feel like I'm getting a steal! All the look of the Marant Dicker without the $$$$$.
Fit is fine IMO. Absolutely zero break-in period required. Got them last week and I've been wearing them to death already!

Love these!
I was so excited to see how beautiful these boots were, up close and personal. The color variation is gorgeous and the heel height is perfect for comfort. I ordered a size 9 and my heel was slipping. I've reordered in an 8.5 and can hardly wait to get them! I'm a "woman of a certain age" (mature side!) and these have a sophisticated western flair!

These booties are truly wonderful. The brown is a rich saddle brown that wears beautifully with blue jeans. Also like the heel height, which is easy to walk in.
