I wear this hoodie literally everyday. I first bought one in black and loved it so i bought another in grey. Then i washed them together and my black one came out of the wash looking like an old rug so i bought a new one. Lesson learned- don't wash the black with lighter colours! I've washed my new black one a few times and it hasn't pilled at all (: As one of the previous reviewers mentioned these are made by american apparel which means you can buy the hoodie strings from aa and swap them on the freecity hoodies to look even more unique! Even my dad commented on how cute the little yellow birds are (:

I am usually a size small (174 cm tall, 54 kg) , I sized up because I like my hoodies to be a bit larger and comfy. Size 3 was ridiculously huge on me, not even wearable. The sleeves were so long I would need to fold them up a few times and the body of the jacked when zipped up made me look like a giant square - moral of the story is probably do not size up. Please review anything you buy on shopbop - it really helps others with their selections :)

I have been a Free City fan for years and have always thought that even though the hoodies and sweatpants are pricey, they are worth the money. When I ordered the new hoodie I was so excited to receive it because my previous hoodie from a few years ago was my favorite. After wearing it for several weeks I noticed that the material felt different than my previous hoodie. I was curious in the material so I did some investigating on the tag and noticed that it said "American Apparel" was the brand. I am very disappointed the Free City would use a sweatshirt that is sold at American Apparel for $50 retail and mark it up to $148. Free City has always been known for its quality and it is unfortunate that they now changing their ways. I still love the brand but feel a little cheated that I could have bought basically the same hoodie for more than half the price and had no idea until I had in my closet for several weeks.

So soft and fits perfect. Great for running around errands on the weekend.

Its much more of a royal blue and not an indigo as it looks in the pic. Keeping but be aware.

I now understand the hype & why it's an expensive hoodie, it is so soft inside! I bought the black (true black). I am a small, size 2 fits like S-M (a little roomy), if you like them boyfriend-oversized then suggest a size up. 4 stars because still expensive for just a hoodie, but still love it!

Cuz the some reviews said it is larger than expected, then I bought small at first, but it was tight on my stomach, then I ordered medium , m fits much better for me, so I don't think the size runs large.

Size is bigger than what I expected when I ordered size 4, I am normally size S, height 5 "5". Finally settled on size 3 because I like my hoodie a looser fit. Colour is a little misleading because it is more grey than black.

Very soft warm TTS hoodie. Love , love it !
