Black Halo Francis Dress

Description

Princess seams contour the twill bodice on this two-tone, V-neck dress. A folded belt detail trims the ruched waist, while the chiffon circle skirt is finished in an uneven hem. Hidden back zip. Thin straps. Lined.

Fabric: Soft twill suiting/airy chiffon.
Bodice: 100% polyamide.
Skirt: 62% polyamide/32% rayon/6% spandex.
Lining: 96% polyamide/4% spandex.
Dry clean.
Made in the USA.

Fabric was poor
THe design of this dress is beautiful, the skirt is flowy and gorgeous but the fabric of the bodice was the downfall. It just didnt suit the dress and the style at all. Sent it back.

Love it
Looks very elegant in person and the black chiffon moves beautifully. The top is a cotton twill which has basically no stretch, so the fit has to be perfect. I ordered a 2 and it fit me perfectly... but I have a small upper body. Busty girls should size up.

Unfortunately not THAT amazing
I really wanted to love this dress - it looks so great on the model. The skirt is beautiful and I love the V in the back. The problem is that the white part of the top is made from a weird fabric. When they say twill, it really is twill... pretty stiff and thick. It flattened me out on top and puckered in an unflattering way. Too bad, because it is really a beautiful design. Don't let me stop you from trying it on though, if it worked it could be gorgeous! I'm usually a 6 or 8, and the 8 fit well (TTS for other Black Halo dresses like Jackie O).

Looks like lingerie with a skirt
The cut and fall of the skirt is great, but the top part was a little tight and it looks like underwear when worn. The fabric is also super thick. The back is super sexy. But, unfortunately, I sent it back. I wish the top had a little more to it (don't know what exactly) so it doesn't look so plain.
