The line was founded 2002, when designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville couldn't find jeans they wanted to wear. Beauty!
I was little worried about the ankle straps after reading previous reviews. But it wasn't as bad as I expected. Yes they have come off a couple of times after wearing them whole day, but I can deal with it. They are as beautiful as pictured here and very comfortable to walk in. I'd really want them in brown also.

Disappointed - buckle problem
These sandals looked great and fit well, so I was hugely disappointed on wearing them to realize a design flaw - the strap closure is a latch that snaps down, but after a couple hours of wearing, the latch started to pop out on its own. The second time I tried to wear these shoes, I didn't even make it out my door before the latch popped out again. Traditional buckles may look boring but at least they are secure! Guess the designers chose style over function, although the fact that these sandals can't stay on my feet are obviously unacceptable... returned!

so cute but won't buckle does not work
I bought these insanely cute shoes in black and tan because I "had to have them both". Every step I took, the buckle came undone and I could not walk. Ridiculous. Returned them. So bummed.
