This collarless, double-breasted wool blazer features asymmetrical pleats and a hook-and-eye closure at the front. Padded shoulders and asymmetrical hem. Darting at back and wool-jersey banding at long sleeves. Silk lining.

Helmut Lang Fold Jacket

I love this jacket. It is well tailored, with a snug fit in the back, that sits much higher than the front panels, giving an edgy twist to the look. I am 5'6" and 135lbs and bought the size 10 which is my size in this label (I have another HL Jacket in the same size and it is perfect). One point is that the sleeves are long on me - with my arms by my side they are level with the tips of my thumbs and on my knuckles but I don't mind that. The sleeves are the same fabric as the rest of the jacket but have a stretch to them, which along with the stretch silk lining, makes it really comfortable to wear. I moved the 'eye' of the hook eye closure over to the next seam and adjusted the inside button to make the front a more snug fit. The longest part of the front panel measures approx. 29" from the shoulder, in the size 10. Great with skinny denim or black jeans.
