Softest leather....but
These shoes are made out of lamb leather and the softest leather you can get for your feet.
So naturally I did not put any protectors on the back of the heel - these shoes still cut up my feet in the worse way.
My heels were bleeding!
Totally did not expect that and my feet hurt all day.
Sizing: True to Size / As Expected

this is just great.
I wear size 8 for the TB reva flats, and initially ordered size 38 for these, yet they turned out too small. In fact, the Zespa shoe box indicated that size 38 is US size 7. Then I re-ordered size 39, which is perfect for US size 8 feet. Other than the confusion over sizes, these shoes are just perfect--the lambskin is so soft, the soles are thicker than normal flats which your feet will absolutely love, and the design is classy and elegant. Plus these shoes are off the radar compared to reva shoes.
