The cut is great and true- Medium. But the fabric is cheap and cheap looking- like polyester. Great jacket for $100 but not $200. And if it was better fabric- I would pay $300. Sent back.

The Fiance Blazer
This is a lightweight jacket and is good for a slouchy look (e.g. paired with T shirts over work trousers or jeans). It's quite a casual jacket and so may not be suitable if you want the really formal work look. Not my go-to jacket, but I've made it work for me.

Great for the Price
I've been wearing this jacket a lot and I really like it; the only issue I have with it is the lining is pretty cheap and the cut in the back is a bit too big and loose for me. I ordered an XS and would have liked there to be less gaping in the back but overall it's cut quite well and is a great blazer for the price.

My lining is white
I bought this item last spring and I was kind of dissapointed the lining was white, just like the picture. A fun lining is always a bonus, didn't think about anything showing through. It's good that Shopbop has been made aware of this difference with these reviews.

When I first put this on I was so excited. The fit was great and I loved the color. Then I noticed you could see the lining through the arm fabric. I purchased the white. They lined the arms with a striped fabric and the stripes shown through. I have no idea why they did that, and why they didn't see the problem. Would have been great otherwise.

Will stand the test of time
Love it, love it. Great fit, great fabric. Wonderful piece for any occasion and so many looks. Staple piece in my closet. Wish I would have bought every color.

I love this jacket! I just got it in the mail today. I ordered it in the black. It is the perfect combination of a traditional blazer and a boyfriend blazer (hence the title Fiance? :-D) I ordered a small and it fits well with a little give for layering. I am a bit under 5'2" and 110 lbs. I was thinking maybe i would exchange it for an XS but I decided not to so that I can layer sweaters underneath. Some people said they thought the material looked kind of cheap... I can't say that I totally disagree but it isn't so bad that I would send it back.

white blazer
I bought both the black and the white blazer. Fit is fantastic, slim and stylish. However, the white one has a pinstripe lining that shows through on the arms. Even though jacket fits great, the see through stripes makes it tacky....I've read other reviews where they've replaced the lining. Not sure how much that will cost, but something to keep in mind when purchasing.
