Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England. Frye boots have traveled with soldiers from America's Civil War through World War II, and in the 1960s the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, was reintroduced and soon rose to high demand. Today, Frye's boots still hold a place in American culture.

Craftsmanship is exceptional. Sand colour is unique. Perfect for weekend on jeans/shorts/leggings. Heavy but still comfortable. The leather easily crinkles in front though and that's even before I started wearing it! It is made for the wide footed so I will recommend sizing down half a size.

Love the boots but watch the sizing
These boots are very well crafted and will go with everything. I like the shorter length and color for spring/summer. I was so excited to receive them but when I tried them on I had trouble with the right boot fitting properly size *6 1/2*. I broke an ankle a few years ago and had real trouble trying to get my arch into the right side. I hated to return them but had to, alas, they did not have size *7* , so sad because now I've had to order them from another site and pay $30 more :(
If you have a wide foot, high arch or size discrepancy with your feet, order a half size up just to be safe. I should have done that on the first order and now I'm paying paying extra for it.

They run a little on the smaller size. Love them. Weaer them everyday. I prefer these to flats because I get a little extra height with the heel. Couldn't ask for anything more from these.

Frye Quality, As Usual
I was so happy that I had no problem getting my feet with my high arches into these boots. I have a higher version of these (I believe 12R), and had a bit of a problem; had to have them stretched before I could wear them (and I have narrow feet). All of you with high arches will know what I mean. High-Quality boots. I especially love the design of the heel, and the skid-proof soles.
My size quickly sold out when these were first stocked. I'm glad I kept looking for them to be re-stocked, as my size could have quickly sold out again. I suggest buying a pair if you've been "considering", if your size is still in stock.

nice boots, a little bit heavy but comfortable to walk in. ordered a 6.5 due to previous review(6.5 in heels and 7 in boots). Hope it will loosen up a bit so I can wear sick socks inside. Overall very satisfied.

LOVE THESE BOOTS
I purchased these in sand, I already own a tall pair of Frye boots and wanted a shorter pair. I love these, ordered a half a size down (usually a 10 ordered a 9.5). One took some stretching before it fit. Now they fit like a glove! Lots of compliments, and they go with a ton of clothes. Worth the money

Magic boots!
I wore these out as soon as they arrived, and I wore them for about 5 days straight with different outfits.
The leather is beautifully worn in, and for a short person like me the height of the boot is perfect! I am 5'3, with a 28" inseam.
They are just as comfortable as my sneakers, and with thick socks they fit perfectly.
I plan to wear these when I travel to Europe, but even in sunny California they fit perfectly.
I love how well made the boots are,and you can tell they can last for a long time.
