Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Cute Casual
The style of this dress is flattering with the banded waist but I think it runs a little small. You also can't wear a bra with it because of the super low cut but the material is thick enough that you can go without. I think the length could be a little shorter. I'm 5'6 and it hit right above my knees. Cute and comfortable and worth the sale price, but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it.

Can't believe I got this on sale, I love it. Perfect soft James Perse jersey, great fit. I got size 2 which is between 8-10.

love this dress .. I'm only 95pound or 42 kgs i ordered size 0 and it is a bit tight lol :P which is good i like tight than bigger... love love love this dress

I bought this dress, it's not a form fitting dress like many of their other dresses but it fits great and it's a nice casual dress for when you don't want people to stare at you. I'm considering getting the green now that it's on sale ;)

Disappointment from James Perse
I love James Perse. However, this dress was ill fitting from top to bottom. The cups were non-existent and the hips were billowy. Also, I expected the color to be the lavendar I saw in the James Perse store and it was an awful, dowdy shade of grey. Also, the fabric was very sheer and cheap feeling.
