This dropped-waist, striped voile dress features a V neck and back. 3-button closure at front and adjustable button-tabs at sides. Pleated waist and asymmetrical hem. Pleats at 1.75" straps. Semi-sheer.

Love the style

I love the style and the dropped waist with the handkerchief hem. I had to do some tweaking of the construction; the armhole facings needed to be tacked down. The lightweight cotton is wonderful and breezy and ideal for warmer weather. It is, however, opaque and you need to remember to wear really nice underwear. If you wear a slip or half slip you won't have to avoid strong background lighting. But then you don't get the feeling of the airy cotton on your skin. The bodice gaps around the armholes, and I may end up having it taken in a bit. I am 5'6" and thin, so this may not be a concern for the larger busted wearer.

Great summer dress

Very lightweight and soft fabric, perfect for hot weather. Only downside is that the skirt can get very wrinkled very easily.
