I was expecting the bright ruby red in the depicted photo and was disappointed because the actual color is more of a dull crimson.

So I ordered these in black...
And shopbop sent me them in Garnet. Argh! They were wonderful though about their mistake, and although I returned them (just not a red shoes girl), the shoes are true to size, sexy, classic, and just a bit funky. Just as the description states, a wardrobe must have.

the perfect red pump
I adore these shoes. I am a US 9, sometimes 9 and a half and based on the look of the shoes I decided to go with a 39.5, and typically with European sizing I tend to be more a 39.5-40. They make my legs look amazing, they fit my foot shape beautifully, they're higher than I expected but there's a padding on the ball of the foot that makes them more comfortable than what you'd expect. I got them in the garnet colour and I'm considering the black too!
