Puffed seams lend a hind of modern structure to this sweet mini dress from IRO. Sheer embroidered stripes trim the pleated bodice and edges, while crisscross panels meet at the back, allowing a glimpse of skin. Exposed back zip. Unlined. Semi-sheer.

Designer

French brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton bring their background in the music industry to their designs. They gained experience in fashion while running the family's business, and in 2002 decided to launch their own line. IRO owes its name to the Japanese word for "color," and the Bitton brothers combine luminous vintage prints with city-chic attitude. Inspired by the trendy, jet-setting crowd, Laurent and Arik have created a sexy, playful, and energetic line of clothing.

Gorgeous cut and material
This dress looks exactly as it appears in the photo. The material almost has a soft velvety finish. It's gorgeous and totally wearable. The only issue I had was that the back panels didn't lay flat as I'm 5'3 and the torso fit is a bit long on me. I brought it to the tailor and it cost $15 to adjust; so no biggie. The dress looks very short on the model (who is an amazon woman btw) but on me, it's a more publicly debut-able dress. It falls a respectable 3 or 4 inches above my knee. My colleague commented that it was short! But compared to the model photo, it is quite long!

Nice dress
Very nice quality. The dress was very wrinkled when I got it though so I'll have to get it professionally pressed. It fits true to size.

Gorgeous
I love this dress. Im in love with it. The fabric is beautiful, better than i thought. I love cut out dresses so i knew this one is going to be my favorite. IRO has great designs. Love this dress.
