Just what i wanted
I knew that it was smaller than expected but from the couple of times i wore it, it was super comfortable on... just a hassle putting them on though. Love the colour. It's a mix between red, coral, and fushia. Love it.

these wear like espadrilles, not boots
I have owned a few pairs of these espadrilles as well as those from other manufacturers. I would say that they last about as well as any other espadrille. All espadrilles are made out of lightweight and easily wearing materials; many traditional ones don't even have a rubber sole at all, just the rope. The rubber sole of the most recent batch does seem to detach somewhat more easily than previous ones, but a little shoe glue has fixed that easily for me. Keep in mind they only cost $24.
These do fit tight at first -- but due to the materials they are constructed from, they stretch out considerably, so if they are not very snug at first, they will fall off your feet with a few day's wear.

gorgeous but fall apart, do not buy
these fall apart. I keep buying them and hoping its a bad batch but they are really doing something wrong here. with very minimal wear the rubber separates from the shoe. I really don't know what they're thinking, selling these for any amount of money.

Soles Suck
I decided to go ahead and get this shoe in spite of some negative reviews regarding their quality. I mean, if J. Crew is selling them, they must be relatively well made, right? Wrong. The soles started to come off in the front and back of both shoes during the first day of wear. Granted, they have only slowly gotten worse from there, but I do not expect these shoes to last a summer of normal wear. Knowing this now, I would have rather paid double for a pair of Toms. That said, they are true to size - I'm a 7.5 and the 37 was just a little small so I went with a 38. And they are comfortable. I just wish I could be confident in them holding up for more than a month.

way too small! i wear a size 5.5 and i could barely get these size 6 shoes over my toes! i sent them back immediately. so disappointed!!!
