For designer Nicole Akong, the 2010 launch of Akong London jewelry was the culmination of a lifelong dream to create beautiful, wearable art. After growing up an artistic rebel in the West Indies and studying fine art in Miami, Akong moved to London, which proved to be a turning point when her love of the city's vibrant culture inspired her to take a jewelry making class and start her own line. Today, each handcrafted Akong London piece offers a striking mix of natural beauty and sparkling glamour.
