Sizing: True to Size / As Expected

Darn Short Legs!!
These boots were exactly what I was looking for. A nice, tall black boot that was plain but not boring. So imagine my disappointment when they arrived and were too tall for my legs! My feet and calves fit fine, but the top of the boot hit RIGHT up below my knees, causing ugly knee wrinkles when I stood straight. Sadly, had to return. I'm 5'4" and an athletic 125 lbs. for reference.
