Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

Odd fitting
I love wrap shirts for all the potential the offer to women with larger cup sizes. While the shirt fit well everywhere else, the chest was too big. I'm a DDD and the front flapped lifelessly over my chest. I wasn't impressed with the material. It's not horrible, just a typical cotton that feels like low threat count bed linen. Perhaps it softens with washing? Either way, I returned the shirt since having it tailored would not have been worth it to me.

I usually wear a small to a medium, so I ordered medium in this and should've ordered a small. I kept it, hoping it might shrink just a bit with a few washings. Beautifully made, nice draping, but a little too open at the top and I have to pin it or wear a tank under.

Nice summer top
I purchased both the white and black. I was looking for nice stylish cotton top for the heat and humidity of summer to wear to work. This top is perfect.
I purchased my usual size which is a size 2 and it was perfect for me. I am a size 34DD and usually wear a medium top.

Lovely top
This is a very nice top to dress down with skinny jeans or dress up with a pencil skirt. I used to wear size 3 in James Perse, I think the sizing has changed because lately the 3's have been big on me. I am a size 6/M in most things, the size 2 was perfect. I wore the top with only a bra underneath and it was ok, but I had to adjust it a few times so my bra didn't show. It might be better with a cami underneath, but it's ok without if you pay attention. Altogether I really like the top and it's quite flattering.
