This scoop-neck jacquard dress features inside-out darts at the front and grosgrain trim at the waist. Hidden back zip. 1.5" straps. Lined.

Designer

A graduate of Parsons School of Design and recipient of the Isaac Mizrahi Gold Thimble Award, Peter Som apprenticed with Michael Kors and Calvin Klein before joining the Bill Blass design team. Som debuted his eponymous collection in 2001 at Bryant Park and quickly became an industry darling. Crediting his San Francisco upbringing for his eclectic and sophisticated aesthetic, Peter Som has attracted such stylish starlets as Scarlett Johanssen, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Ginnifer Goodwin.

Beautiful dress

Fabric was unique and stunning, meticulous details. Unfortunately I had to return and order a different size. I am normally size 0, but i'm fuller behind and in the bust area. When I try to wear this dress bottom-up, I wasn't able to pull it past my bump area. I fred a top-down approach, but given there is no slit in this dress and the hem line area is very fitted, I couldn't pull it past hip either. Would suggest ordering one size up.

Small!

Personally, I found this dress smaller than expected and had to return. I would reommend sizing up. But it was a really nice dress, lovely fabric - really high price tage though, especially when you can buy similar nice dresses in the $300 range!
