Size down for sure
I have 2 pair of these cords. I usual wear a 26 but I have them in 25 and 24. I like the 24 better - not as sloppy. The 23 would have been too tight on the knees and because they are boyfriend cut, the crotch would have still been long. They are so very soft that I want to wear them all the time. And C/E quality is always first rate.

Current Elliot Bofriend pants
The designer team for the Current Elliot pant had in mind the looser comfortable frontal and waist ergo boyfriend pant! Looser in front and slimmer leg!
I have 2 cotton 2 cords 1jean since the summer-they are the most comfortable pant ever!!!

Too big
I love CE and own several pairs of their denim. However, this style, although cute, was just way too big for me. I am typically a size 26 and went down as far as a 23, but was still not satisfied with the way it looked on me.

very loose fit
I love these cords!! I just wanted to further caution people about the loose fit. The model must be wearing pants 3 sizes smaller than her usual to achieve the look on this page. I'm usually size 28 or 29. I initially ordered a 27 on the advice of the above reviews, but ended up exchanging them for a 26, which are still reasonably loose. If I wanted a sim fit, I would probably go for 3 sizes smaller to allow for stretch with wear - I'm just wearing them for the first time today. I'm happy with the current pair for a relaxed look, but they really aren't as fitted as the model is wearing above. They are particularly big in the waist. Enjoy.

The fabric is so comfortably soft but not so soft that the pants lose form after wear. Fits like other c/e boyfriend styles...

another hit from CE
I love every pair of CEs I own and this is no exception. I wore them yesterday with a black sweater, my new R&B boots, and an Akris techno gilet from a few seasons ago. Felt like a zillion bucks and got tons of compliments.
One caveat--though I sized down to a 24 from my usual 25, this pair is even slouchier than the fit guide implies. I could have done a 23 no problem, but it isn't available in my color of choice. So ... bring out the belt is all.
