Handmade in Cambodia within a non-profit skills training project, Mettle jewelry is hypoallergenic and made from recycled bombshell metal.

This collar necklace features embossed logo lettering at the concave cylinder pendant. Hook-and-eye clasp.

Designer

Australian designer Brianna Hallihan cut her teeth in London and Paris before finding her current design calling. Inspired by time spent volunteering at a women's sewing co-op in Cambodia, Hallihan created Mettle, a line of responsible (and beautiful) jewelry made from recycled bombshell metal used by the Khmer Rouge. Each piece is handmade, fair trade, and hypoallergenic, and the line is entirely produced in Cambodia within a non-profit skills training project.

Simple and beautiful
I do love that there is a story to this piece, and it adds to the attraction, however it is a wonderful addition to my jewelry collection just on it's own. The color is great, lustrous looking, and the fit is perfect. It's just easy and pleasing to wear. Plus, after looking around, the price is pretty good too. Overall, I am so happy with my purchase!

Beautiful
This was better than it looked. I didn't know it was made in Cambodia from recycled bomb shell metal - so not only does it look beautiful and get comments, it's got a story.
