Fit not as good as other L*space
I am a big lover of this line for bathing suits are have several different styles. I have a 35" hip and 26" waist (wear size 25 jeans) and ordered these in my usual S. I found them not comfortable and not very flattering. They cut into my bum in a way that made me self conscious that other styles didn't, and as the other reviewer said, they're weirdly short and didn't cover the top of the bum well. I kept pulling up then adjusting the lower bum, then top, then lower bum. I decided to bite the bullet and size up to M. Definitely more comfortable. A touch loose looking but I honestly got over it bc I love the colors and overall look. I feel less self-conscious, and its not like they were sliding off. Bottom line: if you love these bottoms maybe size up for more comfort if you have anything but a flat butt.

Love the look/didn't quite fit
I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and neither the small nor medium fit. The waist was too low in the back - it didn't matter which size I tried. It's unfortunate because the suit is adorable.
