Alexander Wang Coat with Leather Back Panel

Description

A pleated leather inset imitates a skirt on the back of a wool Alexander Wang jacket with striking, substantial presence. The stand-up collar is lifted by sharp notches, and the collar seams lead to a cut-away yoke. A narrow strap mimics a welt breast pocket, and hip pockets hide on the vertical seams. A wide, removable belt hides under the back flap and fastens behind the placket, which closes with hidden buttons. Split cuffs finish the long sleeves. Lined.

Fabric: Wool felt/leather.
Shell: 80% wool/20% polyamide.
Trim: 100% calfskin.
Lining: 100% cupro.
Leather clean.
Imported.
Bottom layer sold separately.

Designer

At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.

WOW! Gorgeous coat!
I was more than happy with this coat! Worth every single dollar I spent on it! It's true to size, very stylish and different from your ordinary coat and it looks like you have a jacket over a pleated leather skirt on from the backIts just amazing on! i love it!
