amazing shoes - lives up to the hype
These are amazing shoes. Not only are they versatile (I wore them on NYE with a gold sequined party dress and I wore them today with a pair of skinny jeans -- and they look great with flares, too), they are COMFORTABLE!!! I am not joking when I say that these are as comfortable as a pair of flat boots. They are expensive but you get a lot for your money.

Love these booties!
Perfect booties, worth the price. Although they have a high heel they are extremely comfortable. Nice leather and good color. Im a european 39.5 but the size 39/size 9 fit me just fine.

the platonic ideal of boots
got them in black which, i believe, is the holy grail in this style. great leather. thick and slightly pebbled. but refined; not hippie-ish. fit is perfect. they're cushioned inside so it feels like your foot is being cradled. they are higher heeled than i would normally wear but they are so beautifully balanced, i can make them work. also they're the only boots i've found that look good with skinny and not so skinny jeans and skirts. a real investment purchase. i'm happy to have stumbled on the re-order and nabbed a pair before they sold out.

quality & comfort. understated style.
I am impressed with the quality of leather and construction, which is expected at this price point. I normally wear 7, sometimes 7.5 because of wide feet, and 37 fit perfectly. 37.5 would have been better to give some room for socks, but 38 was too large. Looks like they started making half sizes but not on shopbop yet. I walked around for hours in them and the heels are sturdy and provide good weight distribution, preventing fatigue. Cute with skinny pants, bootcut, skirts, leggings, barefoot, scrunchy socks, etc.
BTW, they are"made in China", only printed on the inside of the boot.

By the time I got my black newbury's, they were all sold out so I couldn't write a review on the actual page. Anywhos, these boots are absolutely amazing! I have thick ankles and these fit perfectly, made my ankles look smaller actually. The leather is so comfortable and versatile! They're so nice that I don't want to wear them out just yet, so they are on display on my book shelf. ahhhhh, so beautiful :)

I don't usually wear heels, yet, these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I can walk in these all day. I also love their versatility. These shoes are well worth the investment. They go with everything. A size 36 is usually too big for me. I would say I wear about a half size down. I got the size 36 and they fit perfectly.

Wow, I finally see what all the hype is about - these boots are absolutely amazing! The leather is superb, the style is timeless, and the fit is as expected. I love them - love them so much that I purchased the Bronze ones as well. :) I'm addicted!

Wardrobe staple
These boots are lovely. They go with so many things. They are comfortable to walk in and the ankle isn't too baggy at the top ( a problem for skinny ankled girls). The leather is excellent quality. They smell divine!!! Black is a great colour for winter and more versatile although I'd be tempted by other colours. So far I've worn them with skinny jeans,leggings and a shift dress. Looked great with all of these items. They are a must buy. Don't hesitate!

Love these boots, but they run small. I'm a true size 9, and size 39 boots are pretty tight, while size 40 is too big. They should make half sizes, really.

Exceptional
Beautiful leather, sturdy construction, quality finish, padded footbed -- these are the best boots I've ever had. I am usually a US size 8/EU 39, but sized up to EU 40 as I always wear my boots with socks and my feet are sllghtly wider than medium width. Without socks, they would be TTS in length. The butter-soft leather will have some give should you find them snug and the height is great for all-day walking. Well-worth the investment.
