So glad I bought these!
Like some of previous reviewers, I don't know why it took me so long before I bought these! They are perfect. Extremely comfortable. Did not size up and yet to try them with thicker socks but I doubt they will be too tight. The dark brown shade is gorgeous - not too orangey like some browns can be.

Great boots
Very happy I finally purchased these, I'm sure they will become a wardrobe staple very quickly. Super-comfortable, will be great with dresses or jeans, all the reviews are accurate regarding size and narrow fit. I am usually always a 9, but went up half and size and got the 39.5 which fits perfectly.

Addicted to Newbury Booties
Yes, I am hooked on Newbury booties. These black ones are my fourth pair. (chili, floral and gray are the other ones) I love all of my Newbury booties and wear them all the time. Nevertheless, the other ones have a brown heel. So they are more casual. These all black ones are my new favorites and also more elegant. They are simply amazing! And most comfortable. I literally can wear them all day long. They look great with dresses, shorts, skirts and skinny jeans. Also, I think they are timeless.

i guess one more review won't make the difference, because it's clear these are a great boot. ordered my standard size and i agree with some other reviewers that the heel is a little loose, but it's fine for me as i wouldnt want to go down a size. plus you can wear a full sock underneath. i wore them out in the rain and could feel the bottom of my foot getting a bit wet, so i got the soles re-soled with rubber and am very happy with that decision!

Why did I wait to order these?
These gems were delivered today, and I instantly questioned why it took me so long to finally order!
Admittedly, I was late to the game and did not get introduced to the Newbury until this past August. I instantly began "stalking" these booties and was discouraged to see they were sold out or backordered on all my usual sites. The price point also played a part in the delay to take the plunge. However, I have come to realize that quality over quantity is a good principle to live by when it comes to clothing/shoes/handbags.
Upon receiving, I tried them on immediately and fell in love without even looking in a mirror. I read all of the reviews and did order a 1/2 size up (normally an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9). They fit perfectly with and without a thin sock. I was initially surprised by how "small" the booties looked but found they fit perfect and love the zipper in the back. I haven't worn them for a long duration so I can't comment on the comfort factor.

Like them very well. On the web side to Shopbop they say that it is lambskin. But when you sees on the web side Rag&Bone they describe them as italian cowskin ?
But whatever the skin is beautiful :)

My Favourite Booties
What can I say that other customers havent said already. These are the most comfortable booties I have.I also purchased them in the grey which look amazing. I am a 39 and purchased the 39.5 which are a perfect fit on me. I think the 39 would've been a little tight. Worth the money.
