Shopbop.com, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amazon.com, is a separate web site from Amazon and maintains their website platform and internal backend applications.
The Java Developer will help shape a fast-growing organization by partnering with business users, QA engineers, and infrastructure and development teams to implement and support trend-setting new features for the eCommerce site. The successful candidate will contribute new ideas and technical directions, but also be able to roll up his/her sleeves and implement them. Reporting to the Website Manager, the Java Developer will provide technical direction and strategy for both internal and external web applications.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years web application development with Java, JSP, Servlets
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Intermediate Linux/UNIX skills
