Designer

After graduating with a degree in European History from Princeton, LD Tuttle co-founder Tiffany Tuttle went on to study fashion at FIT, subsequently working at Givenchy in Paris and as an associate designer at Rebecca Taylor. Realizing that her true passion was accessory and footwear design, Tuttle moved to Milan to study patternmaking at Ars Sutoria. In 2005, with her husband Richard Lidinsky, she launched the LD Tuttle collection of footwear and handbags and has since achieved international acclaim.

Beautifully made, but too narrow for me
These are gorgeous shoes and well worth the price, especially since they are on sale. Unfortunately they were too narrow in the toes for me and I had to send them back. Also, the leather felt stiff, although with wear, they probably would have softened up. For anyone with a narrow foot, I would recommend these beautiful loafers.

Unique but uncomfortable
I had to get a half size up in these. I typically wear a US 8, medium width foot. I tried the 38 first and they were too snug. I sized up to the 38.5, and they fit well in terms of both length and width. I love the zipper detail, and I find myself wearing them unzipped for extra appeal. However, these destroyed the back of my heels. The first time I wore them, I had big cuts and peeling skin on my heels. I added those sticky, padded heel guards to them and hopefully that will help. Otherwise, these shoes are sturdy, well made and gorgeous. I knocked off 2 stars for fit and comfort.
