This strapless silk-chiffon dress features a pleated bodice and a ruffled waist. Mesh godets at tiered, asymmetrical skirt. Raw edges. Built-in longline bra. Hidden side zip. Lined.

Scott Sternberg is the creative force behind Band of Outsiders, a Los Angeles line of reimagined menswear classics with a serious cult following. In 2010 he launched Girl. by Band of Outsiders, a collection speaking to the feminine side of nostalgia with sophisticated draping and Grecian shapes. Girl is about softness, lightness, and simplicity, with fabrics like washed silk georgette with faint, naive floral prints and patchwork crochet.

Not for Me
The dress is gorgeous, super flowy and comfortable, fit amazing. However, it just hit me in all the wrong places. I'm on the shorter side (5'0), and although am petite, have wider hips. The layering hit right at the widest section of my body and made me look big on the bottom. Had to go back :/ Side note: my friend mentioned with the rope belt, it looks like the scene from The Little Mermaid when she just turns into a human and comes out of the water and ties the burlap sack around her with a rope to make a dress. But in a cute way!
