Love these pants
I got them in Vintage Evergreen which looks like a shade of black (the dark green shows only in the light). I love the color, the fit, the triple zipper design, I can wear them with high boots or booties. I'm 6' tall, wear size 30 or 31 in pants, and J Brand size 31 fits me perfectly. I'm sure I'll wear them a lot as I already did just this last week since I got them.

New Fave Brand of Jean
These are absolutely divine. So comfortable! I was a tad weary as not used to US jean sizing but as recommended by the sizing chart they fit like a glove. (I'm a 5'7 girl with an hourglass/thin build with a bit of meat in the rear.)

Love these even more than Mavericks!
After owning several pairs of both Houlihans and Mavericks, I decided to try the Brix style. As noted by a previous reviewer, the fabric is different but I like it even better as it doesn't bag out at all during the day. The fabric of the Mavericks is softer, but I after recently ripping a pair (I did wear them a lot, so that may have been part of the problem) I am happy to find a similar style with a seemingly more durable fabric. I also found the fabric a touch stretchier which again, I like better. A note on the color - the Vintage Evergreen is quite dark and appears almost black in some lights. Not a problem for me, but if you're looking for a true green, this may not be it.

luv my JBrand but...
my hopes for a fit similar to the Houlihans wasn't there. The material isn't as soft and the comfort one would expect from J Brand wasn't there. It's a little stiff. Furthermore, none of the pockets can be used...just the sides. For the same price I prefer the material d same as the Houlihans and the pockets real especially the rear :-) I hope they will come up with another cargo pants using Japanese Twill.

J Brand Zip Cargo Pants
I purchased in my normal size 29 however, returned for 28 and I am so glad I did. They are a great fit and I will get a lot of wear out of them.

Perfect
J Brand hit the mark again with another version of the houli with a few more zips for this season. Vintage evergreen perfect hue for autumn / winter.
