Boooo!
The price of these shoes is great. The quality, not so much. On the left foot (on the inside) it is not stiched properly. It is all bunched up by my toes. I read all the reviews before buying this shoe and still decided to give it a go. I normally wear a sixe 6 1/2 or 7, but got a size 6 per the reviews of it running big (which fit me fine). Also when I walked around my room to see how they looked, I had a huge gap on the side where you could see my sock when I walked. Unfortunately, I will not be trying this brand again. I gave 2 stars for the price and because the shoe looks good...when you are not walking in it.

Love the look!
Love these boots. Bought these and the other JCs that look really similar but have a pretty tall heel. These are the ones I am keeping. Look super cute witha bulky sweater and skinny jeans, or tights and a dress. They are very comfortable, I'm already in love! Two notes about other reviews. These have a very distressed look - hence the exposed neail things keeping the leather to the sole. Its the look, so I'm not overly concerned with the leather also not looking perfectly put together. They do run big, but I took the advice of other reviewers and got a 8, even though I normally wear 9s. Because the toe is very rounded, they actually fit well, and I don't feel like I am cramming my foot into the boot. I will likely punch a few extra holes in the buckle strap to be able to pull the two sides more together - but honestly it looks really cure seeing the bottom of my jean through the boots.

If your on the fence, a good review.
Brown size 6 I'm 5'6 110 pounds. Pros: Great style, they look amazing as a whole, very fashionable, chic, which is really what matters in the end, good looking leather outside the shoe. Cons: Its no secret these boots are cheaply made (in China) for the PRICE, compared to frye boots for instance The wood stain actually can be rubbed off JCs (my history with their Wishlist Boot) can often times have slightly different sized right and left shoes, the right boot I got is smaller than the left, I would venture to say an entire size in the width. The leather (with the nails in it near the sole) is sloppily put together and you can see where they messed up cutting it in certain places, after long wear, I can tell it will rip eventually I'm assuming the back of the heal leather will eventually rip since its so fine The sole inside is cheep Overall: good looking shoe, not the best quality based on the price

Love 'em!!!!
I absolutely love this boots, they are so cool, every time I wear them some one ask me about them, The only problem is that they run one size too big i think, I have to wear thick socks with them. I do not have any problem with the quality of the leather, I have wore them a few times and they are holding up pretty well. I found that its better to make a few holes more on the top strap so that they can fit more snug. great boots tho!!I am happy i got them :), I gave them four stars because of all the fit issues...other than that they are great!

Great Boots Wish the Left One Fit Better
I am enjoying these boots a lot, however the left boot does not feel as great as the right one. The strap is longer and when I tie it it does not feel as tight as the right one. They do look great with skinny jeans and leggings. I have been wearing them with oversized sweaters.

caution
I bought these boots and absolutely loved them. At first. However after wearing them less than 10 times so far there are big chunks coming out of the leather. I won't even have noticed bumping the shoe on anything and I'll look down and a big piece of leather will be chunking/peeling off. I know they're supposed to be "distressed" but they aren't supposed to look like cheap shoes that are falling apart. I have lots of other Jeffrey Campbell shoes and hae never had issues with quality. This was very disappointing.

Brit in Black!
Awesome boot, already owned the brown distressed ones. The black ones are surprisingly a lot lighter, the shaft stays up more than the brown ones bc the leather is lighter (not as droopy). Def recommend these, they do run a little loose, which is what is expected of a rugged bootie. Great with anything from skinnies to day dresses to skirts, to shorts. They are also flattering to the leg (I have pretty athletic legs, not pin thin legs, like typical models). Black is way awesome for that edgy/motorcycle/punkish look and brown is perf for that boho/hippie/music festival look. Recommend both. Shopbop is amazing, free overnight shipping! SO fast!
