Beautiful boots , Top quality , great style , edgy , fun, cool , but classic too.
Dont know exactly how to wear these yet, as they are chunky and i tend to lean to more slim classic styles, but wanted them anyway .
They will go best with long & short skirts, shorts, but thats just going to be fun to try a new style and work out how to style them best.
They probably run half size big but really its probably the style , its a slouchy moto type boot.
Really lovely quality, no chemical smell whatsoever as i have read on another review, just beautiful boots, i am fussy these are so great, LOVE!

perfect slouchy boots
i love these boots. i was a little worried about the sizing after reading other reviews/because they don't do half sizes, and i'm usually a 7.5. i ordered the 7, and they're roomy enough to wear with jeans and wool socks. they're easy to slide on, and have a great laid-back, a little rugged look/feel. because the two pieces of leather in the front and back are open above the ankle, they aren't too tight on my calves, but this also means the two boots aren't exactly symmetrical - the straps fall slightly differently on the left and right boots. one other thing that's a little weird that i almost didn't notice online is that the leather comes over the sole on the sides/front, and can get scuffed fairly easily, but it's not too noticeable.

comfortable, colaor is old looking whih is i like, but i just worry that the botton will split ftom the top....there is no seal as i see.

SIZING IS OFF
I was so excited to see these in size 11 although I previously had ordered the brown in the 10 and had to return them because they were too small length ways. These feel even smaller and they really smell. The brown ones also seemed a lot better quality than these ones. Ironically bought some Frye boots last time and they were way too big. Go figure ! Note to self, Do not buy shoes online before trying them on in the same brand here.

Cute look, but runs small
I love the strappy look to these boots, and since they came in my size (11), I thought I would give them a go.
While trying them on, I had to completely undo the strap that wraps about 3 times around the shaft (isn't there another word for this upper part of the boot?) of the boot. Then while putting them back on, it took a while to get the strap to properly hold the boot together ( the front and back of the book are two separate pieces held together by the strap itself).
While I know it usually takes a little while to break boots in, they became a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps these run too small, and that is where my issue is...but its not worth the effort it takes to get the books to look nice and be so uncomfortable.
Great looking boot, nice material, but a bit of work.

Beautiful boot with unusual structure
I loved these online and more in person. I am so sick of Fryes (although I love them) and wanted a more unique and fashion-forward yet still rugged fall boot. This boot is definitely what I wanted. You can roll it down or keep it up. Be aware that the leather is folded over the sole of the boot and will wear. These boots invite distress but it's part of their look. There is also a slit on the inside of both boots that goes 3/4 of the way down--these are NOT snowboots!

perfect boot
Simply put..these boots are perfect. they match with everything, they can be dressed up or down. they go with dresses, jeans, shorts, you name it. i am a true 7 and i ordered a size 7 and couldnt be any happier. i love the color. its a very vintage brown that will match with everything.
