Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

cute dress
nice dress, very comfy, fabric is really nice. I bought it in grey, the color is nice too, but I think that probably because the dress is double layered, and the fabric is a bit thick, this color is not so flattering for the girls who are a bit curvy.

casual and chic
I love the boat neck and cap sleeve on this dress. Very easy to accessorize with long necklaces or a belt to dress it up. It's a more generous cut than other JP dresses that I own. I got the 0 in this and it is still very roomy.

I bought it in beige color from Revolve. Shopbop doesn't sell it. To be honest, this dress looks better on me than the shopbop model. I'm serious, I'm only 5'3, 34 A bust and got it in size 2 my normal James Perse size. Perfect, it's still fitted but not too skin tight, yikes. I personally think that greyish blue color is ugly. Get the black one instead and pair it with some turquoise accessories, voila. Also don't forget your mini fringe bag. I actually got compliments from boys while wearing it. You just need to know how to coordinate it with the right jewelry and bag plus wedges sandals.

Fabulous Simple Little Summer Dress!!
I LOVE it. I wasn't sure about sizing so I ordered a 2 and 3 and the 2 fit perfectly. I am normally a M/L top and bottom size 30/31 and I am curvy. It's a slightly faded black so it's definitely a casual piece. The fabric is a good weight and super soft. The slight ruching on the sides along with the amazing fabric hides everything! I will wear this 100 times this summer for sure! LOVE.

Cute, but rides up
This is cute and suuuper comfortable, but it does ride up a bit when you walk around. Otherwise, the fit is good, and it might a bit larger than expected--I bought a 0 and a 1, and kept the 0, because the 1 was too baggy around my waist and back.
