Summer staples
I'm so glad that I sized down based on the reviews here! I normally wear an 8.5 or even a 9 (39 in European sizing) and there were no 8.5s left so I got the 8s. They fit just right and even have a tiny bit of room at the front, which is great since I hate toe-overhang in sandals. They are a bit more shiny in person and definitely have a gladiator-esque feel. I am loving all gold accessories right now and see myself wearing these a lot this summer, as they seem quite comfortable too.

Lovely sandals, easy to dress up or down. They run a little big - I am a size 9 and got the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Not tight around the ankles at all. One star subtracted because I'm not sure that they would hold up to heavy rotation in the summer.
