Clusters of tiny beads embellish a silk dress in a demure tea-length silhouette. Bright banding lends unexpected contrast to the neckline, while delicate ruching gathers the waist. Hook-and-eye closures fasten the split back, and a hidden zip closes the side. 3/4 sleeves. Lined in silk chiffon.

Cynthia Rowley found her love of fashion when she created her first dress at age seven. As a senior at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she sold her first collection to a number of prominent stores in NYC. And bigger things were yet to come: she was honored by the CFDA's New Fashion Talent Award, and her line expanded to include everything from clothing to accessories. Rowley has appeared on Project Runway, and her designs have been featured by publications such as Vogue, Elle, and Glamour.

Stunning dress
I was a bit skeptical about this dress b/c it seems hard to wear - but it is gorgeous in person. Very flattering and sexy in a subtle way. The beading is delicate but beautiful. And the dress has a glamorous feel that makes it timeless. A closet staple for years to come!

Beautiful dress
Agree with the previous reviewer on all accounts. The skirt is bias cut, so it hugs the hips and stomach (so shape wear might be a good idea). It's a beautiful dress though. Very elegant.

Easy Elegance
So comfortable to wear with lovely soft silk. I was hoping that the beading sparkled for a strong evening look, but they are more like bronze & white beads- still lovely. The shape is elegant and could be worn from cocktail to black tie with the right accessories and jewellery. I purchased in two sizes and sent the smaller size back. The difference in sizing wasn't huge; being most notable in the volume of material in the back, as opposed to a huge differences in waist / hips - I really fitted into both. The material is unforgiving around the stomach, so you may consider shape wear if not perfectly toned!!! I'm really happy with this purchase and can't wait to wear it- I think it will last a long time in my wardrobe.
