Designer

Danish designer Camilla Skovgaard studied couture in Paris and by age 20 was brought to Dubai to design for the Gulf Sheikhs' wives and daughters. Skovgaard later studied at Cordwainers, where she perfected her trade, learning how to make shoe patterns, cut leather, and close uppers. Her line is celebrated for its high quality and fluid style. Beautiful shoe
This shoe is gorgeous, edgy, sexy - an attention grabber. It is obviously well made, as it should be for the price. It fits the arch of my foot almost perfectly, and is more comfortable than expected when first put on. Over time, however, I realized that more padding is needed at the ball of the foot (a common issue, for me, with heels). There is obviously some padding - I can hear air being expelled when I step with my left foot - just not enough for the height of the shoe. These are true to European sizing, which in practice meant I needed a 38 for my (usual) size 7.5 foot. They are stable and generally well-balanced, though the front of the shoe seems to have a slight roll, which I have to compensate for. I think they make my feet look smaller. This shoe is hot (if the balls of your feet can bear them).
