the banana came larger than life and heavier than i thought too. still very nice craftmanship and long chain. quite a steal for something quirky

I love Monserat De Lucca! The jewelry is whimsical, yet edgy. The banana skull pendant is a little too heavy in comparison to the weight of the chain, but I'm still very pleased with this item. I get many compliments. Definitely recommend!

Pendant is fabulous: whimsical yet edgy design; beautiful execution, great detail. Substantial and weighty, but does not feel heavy around my neck. Color (so far - wearing it for the first time today) is perfect: shiny, deep brass. Only reason I'm downgrading to 4 stars is the chain, which I wish were heavier/chunkier. If they'd used same chain as on designer's Triceratops Skeleton necklace - that pendant is about the same size - this Banana necklace would be perfect. Instead, chain supplied is thin: looks unbalanced and out of proportion on the piece, & is so delicate I'm afraid it might eventually break under weight of the pendant. You can't easily remove the chain, as the link at the end does not fit through the pendant's bale; you'd need to open or smash the link to replace the chain, and I might decide to have a jeweler do that if I find a heavier brass chain I like. Even with chain issues, I'm definitely keeping this, as it's sensational and I've already received compliments
