Ruching gathers the side of a soft jersey top, gently lifting the hem for a flattering, asymmetrical shape, while twisted banding trims the edges with an easy-washed and-worn look.

Fabric: Jersey.

Designer

Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

Great top
Lovely soft quality top, ruching at hem gives slightly fitted look which I like. I ordered size 1 and am usually 10-12 UK so it is quite roomy. Not too low cut at neckline.

Great summer tank
I just love James Perse and this tank is another hit! I am a typically a size XS but I ordered a size 1 as I wanted it to fit like the model - a bit loose. The colour is great for me but I have darker skin so fair ladies beware as it may wash you out. The length is perfect- the back a tad longer and the ruching is a nice detail. The material is super soft. The neckline isn't too low which is something I have to be careful about as I am a 32D or 34C. If they had more colours, I'd be ordering all of them!
