Description
An artistic experiment in texture, this Alexander Wang sweater mixes crinkled feather-light jersey with felted stitches to striking effect. The sheer high neckline is an avant-garde beginning, flowing in wrinkled folds down to the hem, where the fabrics combine in a smooth, soft knit. One long sleeve is sheer, while the other echoes the sweater in texture. Semi-sheer.
Fabric: Ultra-light jersey / fine knit.
54% cotton/40% wool/5% nylon/1% lycra.
Hand wash.
Made in Italy.

Designer
At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.
