Versatile
I wanted boots that would go over jeans or wear with dresses and these are it. Because they are flat, I can wear them in more settings. The other reviews are correct when they caution to look out for the "no zipper." It makes it slightly more difficult to put on and take off, but so far it's not a big struggle. I have athletic calves and they still fit, but if my calves were any bigger I would have to return them. Price is only slightly high since they are more casual.

Tight in the calf
I don't have very big legs, so I was disappointed when these boots were very tight in the calves. I ended up returning them. The color wasn't as brown as I wanted it and more of a burgundy.

Ordered a 6.5 (my size) spoke to a Rep through the online chat, even after i read reviews to down size the rep said not to. So i didnt, to my surprise the boot was too large!
I spent $100 on duties and $30 to ship back. Very disappointed in this experience would have kept the boot 100% if i would have bought a 6 like the reviews said to.
I will not be re-purchasing due to spending $130.00 for duties and shipping for a mistake i didnt make.

I want to love these boots...
I've been on the hunt for perfect flat winter boots. Pros: the leather is beautiful quality and it's not too slouchy around the calves. Good quality non-slip rubber sole.
Cons: all the reviews say to size down a half size. I didn't find this at all - I would say buy your size! It is very tight around my toes and across the width of my foot, but very loose around my heel. I don't know - maybe I have odd-shaped feet!! I found it hard to get my foot into the boot as i was putting it on. The leather around the foot feels very rigid and hard, but it is lovely and soft around the calf. Depends what you prefer. Also, the boots are much heavier than I expected. I so badly wanted to keep these boots because they look like a lovely winter basic, but I'm afraid I'm sending them back.

Finally! Boots that fit skinny legs!
After 2+ years of searching and trying on $200-$500 boots, perfection. I am 5'9", have a 14" calf and 9.5/10 size shoe, and had a tough time finding comfy, quality flat boots that fit my legs. Usually the calf size gets huge the bigger your shoe size gets. Not with these! Not only do they fit perfectly, they are comfortable and the leather is even better quality than I was expecting (and I expected very good quality boots). Very soft without being slouchy and a lovely cognac color, as pictured.
