Designer

First exposed to Native American beadwork at age 10, Kristen Levy cultivated her interest in jewelry design and launched her label, Kristen Elspeth, in 2005. Often using found materials to create unique accessories, Levy continues to be inspired by Native American design and incorporates North American and African porcupine quills into many of her stunning pieces. The quills are shed naturally and traditionally represent trust, innocence, and intelligence, as well as serve as protection from dark spirits.

Wow!
I wasn't sure I was going to like this in person, but I added it on with another item I was ordering. That's why SB's free returns are awesome--you can try something you're not sure about with no risk. Most of the time I end up with something I love, which is definitely the case with this necklace. Sometimes fashion jewelry, especially gold, can look cheap, but not this piece. It is delicate, unique, gorgeous and looks more expensive. I'm so glad I got it. I usually wear silver or white/rose gold, but I think I'm going to reach for this necklace a lot.
