Simple & quirky necklace
I got this necklace because apples remind me of someone who has sadly passed and i keep very close to my heart. I wear this when i miss them a lot. The apple pendant is cute, quirky and solid so it feels it has some weight to it. The apple & necklace have a brassy colour & is nice to wear everyday.

Bad apple
I love this jewelry line, however I couldn't justify the $40 price tag on a necklace of such poor quality. No denying the apple charm was cute, but the leaf was flimsy and felt as if it could snap off at any time. The chain was also subpar, unusual for MDL necklaces since they are generally well made for the price point. Sent it back!

broke within 1 hour
i tried it on when it arrived, and was pleased (it's sort of a dirty gold look...weighty apple pendant) and looking forward to wearing it casually. I wanted to see if I could just take it off over my head and even though I didn't force it, the link connected to the clasp gave out!
I considered returning it but not sure if it will be accepted by shopbop since maybe I shouldn't have tried to take it off over my head (although I swear I was gentle). thankfully i bought it on sale so I will probably attempt to fix it or get it fixed.

Wore it for the first time today and love it by end of day! Its small size is adorable but yet its solid weight of brass feels quality. Think will be wearing it often. Love Monserrat's aesthetic.

Apple necklace
Gorgeous necklace which I've taken to wearing every single day. Looks amazing with everything from silk blouses to distressed tees.
Only gripe I have with this is that it came apart at the ring/hook the second day I wore this and I had to go to the jewelers for repair.
