Not so skinny
These jeans fit great around the butt and I loved the low stretchy waist, but the legs - especially at the calf is not very skinny. The room around the calves kind of make these less flattering, particularly for someone short like me (5'2"). So sadly these are going back.

wanted to love these...
Purchased these jeans due to the great reviews on them. Went up a size (normally wear 26 pre-pregnancy) to a size 27...I didn't want them to be too tight around my baby belly. I wore them once without washing them and LOVED them. The color is great, they weren't too tight, they didn't stretch out! BUT after washing them once, the front wrinkled in a funky way and they looked "bunchy". Luckily shopbop is letting me return them. Super disappointed but maybe mine were just defective?

Best maternity jeans!
I have been searching and I have found the most comfy & sleek maternity jeans! I'm a 27 pre-prego and purchased the 28. I am 5 months.... gained 15 pounds and pretty sure I will be able to wear these until the end. There is ample room in the waist band and yet it fits me and my bum like a glove! I purchased the joy flares on another website and they fit equally as wonderful. Please try I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed!

I have ordered from shopbop hundreds of times, but this is the first purchase I ever felt totally compelled to review.
After searching for maternity jeans for 2 + months now that were stylish, comfortable , not itchy and flattering I FINALLY found them with these jeans. I have overjoyed. As soon as I have this baby I am ordering this brand in normal fits .. of all my designer jeans, these are the most impressive for maternity! Also the price .. awesome. I consider any designer denim under $200 a steal these days!

Love these jeans!!
After trying a couple of pairs of maternity jeans in brands I'm familiar with, I decided to give DL1961 a shot, even though I've never worn them before. I love these jeans! The fit is fantastic, with a normal shirt on, you can't tell at all that they're maternity jeans. And unlike some other pairs I tried, they really do stay up. I'm early in my second trimester now, and I think I'll be able to continue wearing these for quite a while.

I returned this for a bigger size
I was really looking forward to receiving this when I realized that it came smaller than expected. Love the shade and cut though so I've returned it for a bigger size. It's been over a week now, and I'm hoping that Shopbop receives this soon.

omg love these jeans! I just got them and fell in love with them right away. I am usually a size 25 so I ordered size 25 and 26 to compare and I fit perfectly in size 25.
they are so soft and comfortable. I recommend this style!

A GREAT skinny maternity jean!
Love this brand, love this jean. I am typically a 26 pre-pregnancy... haven't gained much weight in my 2nd trimester... but I ordered the 26 and 27 just to compare sizes/comfort, and I decided the 27 felt much more comfortable overall. I think with the design of DL1961 fabric, there isn't as much "give" as in my Sevens or JBrand, so I stuck with a size up. I wish they were a tad higher rise in the back (another reason I sized up), but they are going to be a great summer jean with flats and flips... and a great fall jean with tall boots. The waistband will carry me through my last days being pregnant (this is my 3rd, I can tell :)). Great color, can dress up or down. Very versatile. I found a new favorite!

Finally some petite maternity jeans!
I ordered these in my regular pre-pregnancy size and they fit great at 8mo's pregnant! I've had a hard time finding maternity jeans that fit because I'm 5'2" and petite. The length is great to wear with flats and they also look cute rolled up with a single cuff. The cut is nice and the leg opening at the bottom isn't skin tight so they are probably flattering on a lot of body types. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the panel is only in the front so from the back you can't tell they are maternity jeans at all.............I will probably even wear these post pregnancy for a few months!
