A bit painful
These sandals are beautiful and very flattering. Sadly and I guess I should have suspected this, the ankle straps rubs very harshly against the back of my ankles. These shoes were definitely not made for walking. On a good day, you'll find me hobbling down the road with two slashed/blistered ankles. I can bear the pain and try to break them in some more, but I have a feeling these shoes will never be that comfortable.
