beautiful but too large
I have this belt in the gold. I originally bought it to wear at my natural waist with dresses, but, like a lot of other reviewers have already said, the belt it too large and it sits comfortably at my hips. I ended up keeping the belt because it is really quite beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're smaller and looking for something to sit at your natural waist.

Big!
I have a 67cm waist and this is far too big for it! It does sit quite nicely at the top of my hips though (86 cm hips). Silver colour is lovely, better than the picture. I kept it. Don't buy it if you are small and want something to sit at your true waist. If you are larger there is quite a bit of stretch in it so I think you'll be fine.

Adorable, a bit larger than expected
I was hoping this would fit tight on my natural waist, but it's looser so it goes lower and sits more on my hips when I wear it with a dress. It's still gorgeous, so I wore it low and since it has the extra room, now I plan on wearing it over some blazers, etc. It's like body jewelry and really changes the look of plain staple clothes. I bought the silver which looks even better in person than online; can't speak for the gold.

After a few months the gold buckle tarnished/became discolored and polishing did not help. Sadness...

This is such a smart purchase - can be thrown over any dress for an instant splash of bling. LOVE IT. Have had it saved in my favorites for a long time and finally got around to ordering it.

Not as small as some reviewers suggested
Love the belt, as it goes with everything and is just the right tint of gold. However, from previous reviews I was very nervous about the stretch. I am a size 27 and athletically built, so I don't have hips really. It ended up being too big at my true waist and sat lower on me. Very versatile though, so would highly recommend as a staple for loose dresses or shirts.
