I purchased this item in my usual size 24. I'm 5'7". These denim shorts are very cleverly cut to flatter as they are cut in a V shape unlike other short shorts that are cut straight across the leg. Genius tailoring from Ksubi. They will go up slightly as you walk to reveal a little cheek on one side (perhaps not an issue to all) unless you readjust occasionally. If you want to completely avoid any backside exposure you should size up or stand still ;) You could also add a kimono top. Also great for the beach or poolside. I returned the shorts simply because I felt they were overpriced for shorts and the overly beat up denim or vintage look.

This def way short!! Fine for the beach but not for everyday use.. Too bad since the wash and the fit were great. Sent back

I love these shorts. I ordered them in my natural size and they fit perfectly. To warn you, they are very very short. They even ride up a little because of the higher waist. Perfect for the beach but a little skimpy otherwise.

I just received them today and immediately wore them out. I knew they ran very small so I purchased the size 27 and they fit perfectly with no excessive butt cheek spillage, which I was worried about. I wear a size 25-26 in jeans and so I would advice you to size at least one size up, or even 2 sizes up if you, like me, don't have supermodel gams. I love the distressed look of it and the pockets peeking out from under the hems... The only thing was the wash; I expected them to be a light blue wash (like on the model) but it turned out to be more of a true vintage blue. They look like the vintage Levi's cutoffs that cost a quarter of these but oh well, I'm hoping the quality of the Ksubi's will be better than the levi's but only time will tell! All in all, I love it but gave it one less star because of the $$$ and the wash.

These shorts are officially my favorite cut offs ever. They fit perfectly for my 5'3 frame and are just short enough. Warning: if you've got a big booty you risk cheek spillage. I also bought these in black so the light wash may fit a bit differently.

I bought these shorts in two sizes hoping they would look cute. If you have a butt and hips they will not work that well. My butt cheek was visible in these and I don't like my shorts that short. If you have a boyish figure these might work better for you than they did for me. I returned both pairs.

These are amazing high-waisted cuts offs. They are short I will say (they show a tasteful amount of butt cheek, if that's possible), but great for the beach or whatever. Super cute. True to size. I ordered a 26 (I'm 5'5, 120 pounds). Buy them.
