This is your basic black layering knit made of industrial weight yarn complemented by a thin contrasting thread. It's a comfortable piece with a gentle drape. I anticipate wearing it a lot of different ways, and it works for the office as well as in casual settings. Minor negative: sleeves tend to slide off the shoulder. Also, the photo is deceptive in that it suggests that the sleeves and body have the same knit gauge. In fact, the body has a much tighter stitch -- though you can still see through it -- whereas the sleeves are constructed with a loose fishnet stitch. I think the contrast enhances the look, but can understand that it is not for everyone.

Great Quality
Just as expected the weight of this sweater falls nicely just as it does on the picture. I would never expect it to look on me as it does on the model ( i wish) but it does look very nice on. The quality shows on the weight n feel of the material. It is an open knit style therefore it must b worn w/ care. I'm very satisfied w/ my purchase.
