Cut on the small side. Think narrow shoulders and hips. May want to size up. I am debating an exchange for size. The fabric is thin yet tightly knit, keeping the look very tailored. Described as a jersey, but appears/feels more like a suiting fabric. Not at all bulky. Very sleek, modern and versatile.

Depending on the climate, this cardigan works as a coat or as a cool, chunky sweater . Although the knit is thick, it does not add an extreme amount of bulk. As with many Vince styles, the proportions and cut make this sweater quite flattering. The hood looks great worn up and drapes nicely when not in use. You can easily overlap the front when running outside into cold weather. The hood, pockets and shawl collar are lined with a soft, fine knit. This is a lovely detail and also prevents the slightly more abrasive knit from touching sensitive skin around your neck. The color is a deep, rich charcoal and pairs beautifully with black clothing without blending into a mass of darkness. At 5'4" and 125lbs, this sweater is a perfect fit (with a comfortable amount of room) in a size small. I would give this five stars, but I do expect it will begin to pil with frequent wear and therefore the retail price is a tad excessive.
