Elegant Silhouette
This dress, while a bit more sheer than pictured, is true to size and has a beautiful, sweeping elegance. I love floorlength dresses, especially those that are actually wearable and not too dressy. This play on casual and sophisticated is right on target, and the high slit makes it practical to walk in and sexy. I liked the cream color better, but knew it would be too sheer to wear without a slip. The only criticism is the neckline, a square neck or deeper scoop would have looked better than the semi-awkward crewneck. Overall, definitely my style and wonderful for any season.

Heinous Height
I was a bit skeptical that I would like these when I ordered, but the shape of the toe was what enraptured me. The contrasted piping looks nice and the fit is true to size. However, these heels are so absurdly high (I am perfectly comfortable in 4 or 5" heels) that they are hooker-esque. Do not buy these if you intend on an ounce of subtlety or sophistication. The platform looks unfinished and silly on top of the already sky-high heel. They are easy to walk in, but the quality is poor as well. Leave it to Steve Madden to fail at an attempt of blending trendy with classic.

Awkward fit
This dress is not how it appears online. The color is slightly darker, the fit is awkward and loose, and the fabric is undesireable. A bustier dress should fit tightly, especially in the bust. The cotton fabric is easily wrinkled and not durable. Although nicely wrapped, I received the dress completely wrinkled and distorted and the size 0 was way too lose for my body. Overall, looks good online, but fits poorly and looks kind of cheap.

Awful Quality
I am usually very pleased with Shopbop purchases, the quality of the items are top notch. This necklace is awful. It's cheap looking and has already completely fallen apart. I keep my jewelry hung up so it won't get tangled and the first time I wore this necklace, the tiers had broken apart and the jewels fell out. It's too late to send it back now and I wasted $50 on something that was basically glued together. Very disappointed with this piece and I would have loved a refund.

Size Up!
I had waited for this jacket for quite some time. UPS is such a headache and lost my package and then it was stolen the next time around from my doorstep. Shopbop was courteous enough to resend a complimentary order. I am 5'6" 105 lbs and generally an XS. I always order coats in a Small and size-up just in case I wear something bulky underneath. This coat, while beautiful and soft, is very tight in the shoulders and almost cropped in torso length. I do not have broad shoulders or an unusually long toso by any means either.
Sizing: Smaller than Expected

T-strap heels
I was a little iffy about the heels to begin with, but they seemed elegant enough. I am a 7 1/2 or 8 and ordered an 8. The ankle straps are quite loose and the style of the shoes themselves are a little too ostentatious in person. Once you fluff the feathers, they look quite nice, but definitely clunkier than they appear online.
