i bought these in addition to the original tall hunter wellies because i couldn't decide between the two styles. however, these are the obvious choice for a more sleek, tailored, less-utilitarian look. i will say, when comparing the two boots side by side in the exact same size, the regent's are noticeably more snug in the calf, leaving less room for heavy socks or jeans (this is coming from someone with slim legs). if your calves are on the wider side or you prefer more room in your boots i wouldn't recommend this style.
