Fashionable Fisherman
I love this sweater. i bought it because the of the V-neck and the openwork pattern lightened the look. I usually avoid shirttails, but this one is subtle and flattering. I'm 5'5, and the hem just about covers my butt. The sweater feels light, but it's VERY warm. In fact, that's my complaint about this sweater. I haven't been able to wear it as often as I would like because it's too warm for temperatures over 45F unless I go coatless. My other complaint is that it's a tad itchy and it snags on my bag. But overall I'm pleased with this sweater which i've worn everywhere--walking the dog, to movies, to work, to restaurants. It's easy to dress up or down. It'll be my go-to sweater this winter. In fact, I got it in both cream and charcoal (which really is black).

Good all-around bootie
I resisted buying the Newbury because it's a bit out of my price range. But the recent sales on shopbop allowed me to take the plunge--and I'm glad I did. The Newbury bootie makes my legs look really long. It's good for pants, leggings, and skirts. I haven't tried them with long skirts, but I suspect they'll make that outfit, too. I bought the lizard embossed shoe in black (because it was on sale), and the lizard pattern is very subtle. The bootie is cushioned because of an inner platform, so it's not jarring to walk in as some high heeled boots can be. My only regret is that I bought my size. I had tried the bootie at Barneys and was debating between the 8 and the 8.5. The sales assistant there said that she had gone half a size up and regretted it because the leather stretches. I took her advice. The booties fit fine, but I suspect I would have been more comfortable half a size bigger. Now I know what I should do for my next Newbury.

Go-To Skirt
I wore this skirt for three days straight after opening the package from shopbop. I'm a size 6, 5'4 3/4", and I got the XS/S size. The skirt is about three inches too long for me; I can't wear it low on the waist the way the model does. But I love it anyway. The print and color are flattering, with the subtle light stripes having an elongating effect. When I wear this skirt, I feel effortlessly sexy.

They're sweatpants
They're true to size. The material feels good. But in the end, they're just sweatpants. I think I can get comparable pants elsewhere for 2/3 the price.

Silhouette to Change Your Wardrobe
Sometimes you just need something that changes how all your other clothes look on you. This pair of pants could do just that. I love the menswear reference and the tight ankles. But I'm a 6 and size 28 in jeans, and I ordered a medium on the advice from Shopbop customer service, While that would have been good advice for a taller person, the rise is just too high for my 5'5" frame. Everything from ankle to hip looks great. From hip to waist, I look like an old man. I've been trying it on with different tops the past few days to make it wok, but reluctantly I've decided to order the small. I hope that will do the trick because the pants are cool.

I'd go a size up
I know I am going to enjoy wearing this top because I like flowy, assymetrical clothes. I am brown-skinned, and the white goes well with my skin tone. The fabric looks like it will snag easily, but that's characteristic of Hero Crane clothes. They have a delicate, distressed look because they are delicate--and they can get easily distressed. My attitude is wear it and enjoy it and if it snags, so be it. It'll be part of the look. I regret not getting it a size up, though. I am 5'5" and I have another Hero Crane shirt in small that fits me well, so I ordered this swing top in small. But if I wanted a look as flowy as that of the model, I should have ordered a medium.

Fabulous
The photo did not do it justice. It was better than I expected. I thought it was made only of gold chain and clear rhinestones. But there are also milky stones that add another layer of subtle color. I was afraid that the chains would catch on fabric, but it's fairly smooth. It's heavy though. You know you're wearing a piece. I know it will be lovely with an open neckline, but when I took it out of the box, I wore it with a miliary-lie shirt dress. It looked like a glam necktie. Very 70s but transcending the 70s at the same time. I'm a lariat person, and I am thrilled with this purchase.
