I marked it as smaller than expected because the fabric was inflexible but the cut is great. Beautiful mix of textures, looks great with jeans, leather leggings or skirt. Worth the price for the rich fabrics and craftsmanship.

...that works for daytime too! I styled this skirt with a grey tee shirt tucked in and an olive green cardigan. It was more high waisted than I expected, but I like that look better anyway. The waist band is not stretchy at all, so beware. I would avoid styling it with tights, that gives it too literal of an 80's look. The reason I love this skirt is that it is such a great holiday piece, but you can wear it year-round as well. In the spring and summer I will wear it with a grey tee and gladiator sandals for a fanciful day look. Pair with studded bags or dagger-style jewelry for a great contrast.
