Stunning Summer piece
I was so thrilled to receive this in the mail. My brother-in-law is getting married next month and I have really struggled to find a dress I was excited about. Because of the shape of the dress (and my curvy figure), I decided to size up on this piece. I'm so happy I did because I think my normal size would have been too figure hugging for the occasion. For those who want a truly figure hugging and tight fit, I would order according to your usual size. For reference, I am usually a size 8, 5'6" and 135 #. Most of my curves are in my lower half, so this shape is so flattering. For those with a less than perfect stomach, this dress hides any flaws you may have. The website describes the color as raspberry, which I agree with. It is a bright magenta hue, which is surprising and unexpected for this sophisticated design. Honestly, I feel like a million bucks in this piece. It's dressy and sophisticated and definitely pops. And it's made in America--which is a bonus!

Another Beauty By Cynthia
This dress is stunning. It reflects the 1970s trend--and honestly, looks like something my mom would have worn back in the day. I love the pattern and the muted colors. I think this dress would look stunning with a silver belt to pull it all together. I'm about 130 #, 5'6" and the medium fit me beautifully--with enough room to spare so that it was flowy and diaphanous. One word of warning--I'm a little disappointed with the fabric--you would think at this price point that a better fabric than polyester would be used. Also, the dress runs long, which is an issue for me because I don't wear heels. The sleeves are also on the longer side, and I have long arms. I'm thinking that if you are shorter than me--you'll definitely need to wear heels or have the dress altered. Not sure how that would impact the design of the bottom hem. Altogether, I love this dress and think it will be perfect for the transition into fall.

Yeah for the 70s...
I honestly would not have thought of buying this top, but I read reviews on other sites that made it worth the risk to order online. I bought it in a size small and I am typically a size 4 or 6 (120 #) The colors are striking and atypical for such a top and I love the collage of different patterns....It breathes well and is light, which is important for me since I live in FL. I have been impressed with Joie products and this upholds the brand's reputation. While it is on trend right now, I can see myself wearing this for years. I try to collect pieces that are more timeless in their style and uniqueness, and this fits the bill.

Smashing Dress
I was thrilled when I received this in the mail. I agree with the previous review that stated that it is sized larger. I am 120 lbs and I bought the medium and this is too large for me. It swallows me....I've reordered a small. The material is comfortable and perfect for those summer days at the beach or summer nights out to dinner! Love the pale blue and navy blue paired together.....so complimentary to sunkissed skin!

Disaster
I have eyed this sweater online for weeks. I expected that when receiving it in the mail, it would be on the larger side. At 120 lbs, I could not be found amongst all the layers! It did nothing for my shape, and the design was awkward with 3/4 sleeves. For reference, I usually wear a small, and I ordered a small in this. I know that sizing down would not solve this problem. As if that wasn't enough, the pigment of the colors was dull and disappointing. I am an avid fan of Cynthia Vincent, but this fell short. While it was warm because of all the layers, I could not see myself realistically wearing this. I also could not understand the pricing. I am more than willing to pay for timeless, unqiue pieces, but this did not fit the bill.
